Are the three liberals on the Supreme Court simply liberal shills?
Maybe, but maybe not.
But it's likely Justice Sonia Sotomayor is.
At the beginning of July, in the case Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court held that sitting Presidents have broad immunity when carrying out their duty to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
For example, the President is Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. Various laws, though, purport to limit what the President can do in this regard. However, the Supreme Court has now definitively said the President legally gets to make that call, and, for example, cannot be prosecuted for dispatching troops to counter a threat against our country, even if he or she violates some law about where troops can and cannot be sent without specific authorization from Congress, while doing so.
Trump's claim arose from election integrity. If he had been pursuing election integrity, he cannot be prosecuted for questioning the declared 2020 Election results as President.
It should be noted that many people (White Democrats, mostly) felt it was clear that Biden was 17% more popular in 2020 than Obama ever was!! I find that incredibly hard to believe, myself. White (and perhaps racist, no?) Democrats have even said Trump was a traitor for suggesting otherwise!
OK, we'll ask: "What do you really think, was Biden 17% more popular than Obama ever was?"
That's what counting up all the ballots marked for Biden showed!
I'd say it's totally absurd to criticize Trump for saying he was sure Biden was not more popular than Obama at all, and especially not 17%+ more popular!!!
Back to the specific topic/personnel for this page -- Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
She said Presidents shouldn't be immune, that that's not right!
But what if Obama were being prosecuted for murder, what would her opinion have looked like then?
Murder? Obama? While President? How can that be?
Simple really -- suppose he were to have been prosecuted for this:

So, what would Sotomayor's opinion have looked like if Obama were facing the death penalty for murder for that killing which he ordered be done?
Well, in Trump v. U.S., https://search.app/rKvZ7jtZGV7XRiGq9
Chief Judge Roberts' opinion covers pages 9-50.
Assuming she or her Clerks could write as well, I suggest that if it were to save Obama from a murder prosecution, that Sotomayor's opinion would have looked EXACTLY LIKE THAT!
